This question has been around since 2005 or so- and lolita still lives on- but it still remains. How long do you think lolita will continue to thrive? Definitely not anytime soon I think, since brands are still coming up with lots of new releases. Do you think it will still be a hit 8 years from now? If not, why ( Read more... )

I'm starting to get the impression that lolita pieces are like cars; the really popular ones will fade into obscurity for a while before either disappearing into used lots or re-surging to new heights at 5 times their initial value.
